Okay! So I have retrieved the tablet drawings from Monday and today. They're both from photographs. Nobody sue me.
Monday and attempt #2 at drawing on the tablet. He turned out a bit more angry than I intended.
And my 3rd attempt (today). It started out as just a layout for a full color drawing but I liked it so much that I decided to finish it a little and leave as is. I'm pretty happy with it.
So, yesterday I called Ringling and talked to an admissions counselor. It looks like I won't be able to transfer until Fall and it'll be the same for CalArts and probably most other animation majors so it looks like I'm going to be here for a while longer. It's not as discouraging as I would have thought. I'm actually really excited. I'm finally working towards something significant. I'm not just bee-boping around anymore.

i love your drawings! it's always amazing to me, how you get the contours and shadows and light reflections that i would miss if i were trying to draw that. which of course is why you're the art major, not me.
funny/sad/mean story: my roommate drew a girl's face today and showed it to me, obviously very proud of it. it was not lifelike. she said she would probably be really good if only she practiced more. i said mmhmm and went to the kitchen.
i HAVE watched the long P&P! but it's not like i was going to sit there and memorize the vows. plus the whole ceremony is like an hour long. so there.
could you knit me a sweater or some kind of outer garment like that? that would be awesomer than awesome. i already have a lot of scarves and hats (though i wouldn't say no to more). i'm not sure what's within your time and skill limits.
darling you are quite talented.
(it seems that Carissa and I are your number one fans)
